Private business:
Joe has spent over 10 years as a business owner / ag consultant in the midwest. His main areas of expertise are in agronomy, animal science, education, and sales management. His technical sales and consulting experiences have taught him that each situation needs to be impartially evaluated to create solutions. One has to listen and observe!
Much of his consultative experience has been product specific for development & marketing, or for business evaluations. He has experience in financial analysis, quality assurance, market analysis, cost competition, inventory needs, feasibility studies, flow designs, company consolidations, strategic planning, or influences of new technology. He believes employee training has often been a key item in regard to legal, safety and environmental programs, especially as the industry grows and more attention is given to emissions and regulatory issues.
Industry Experience:
10 + years as a research and sales agronomist, with experience primarily in the seed and food regulatory industries. Emphasis was in the development and marketing of specialty (niche) products, R&D in bio-tech/GMO areas, and in the training of sales forces.
The goal of IBTI is to become the leader of training and development for the biofuels industry workforce. Developing strategic alliances involving new knowledge, products, or technology are keys to success. The technical innovations and the future of the evolving biofuels industry are dependent on an informed workforce.
