IBTI Training Partners

An IBTI training partner is an educational Institution that wants to be able to provide "IBTI certified" (see "Certification" below) courses or programs through its institution.   These may include: 1) institutions that currently offer biofuel related courses or programs, or 2) institutions that do not currently offer biofuel courses but want to be able to serve biofuel industries in their region.

A few of the benefits of becoming an IBTI training partner include:

  • The ability to offer "IBTI Certified" training courses at the partner's location without the program development costs.   This is especially valuable for colleges without well developed biofuel programs.
  • No fee for obtaining an "IBTI Certification" for individual courses.
  • Be able to take advantage of the training strengths of other IBTI training partners and training contractors while still offering the courses through your college/university and generating revenue.
  • Providing biofuel training to the biofuel industries in each college's region.
  • Potential for increased revenue due to increased demand for training as the "IBTI Certified" label becomes nationally and internationally recognized.
  • The potential to be a partner in grant applications. Marketing (nationally and internationally) of the partner's training capabilities.

Before an educational institution is accepted as an IBTI training partner, they need to complete an application detailing the personnel, equipment, and facility resources they will contribute to the IBTI training network.   (Please contact us to request an application.) All courses or programs offered by the training partner will go through the "IBTI certification" process.
